About Us

Welcome to Magnolia Hills Wildlife Rehabilitation. We are a 501c3, non-profit organization that specializes in the rescue and rehabilitation of predator species of wildlife.

Texas is home to a variety of carnivores. Near the top of the food chain lie the predators. The most common predators we see in Texas are bobcats and coyotes. Mountain lions, also known as cougars, fit into this category as well, but are rarely seen.
In addition to specializing in carnivorous predators, we also specialize and take in many foxes, both red and gray.
We are committed to giving quality rehabilitative care to the animals we admit. While we primarily take in mostly carnivores, we will accept other native wildlife into care as space and time commitment allow.
Our Executive Director, Cindy, is permitted by Texas Parks and Wildlife and is federally permitted to rehabilitate most migratory birds as well. Cindy brings to the table many years of not only rehabilitative care of many wildlife species, but also critical care.
We work closely with two licensed veterinarians to ensure the animals are treated timely and appropriately.

Our Mission

  • Provide rehabilitative support to wildlife species in need.

  • Provide mentorship and training to permitted and sub-permitted rehabilitators.

  • Participate in community events to promote human and wildlife coexistence, and to decrease human/wildlife conflicts.

  • Raise funds for a state-of-the-art predator enclosure, with plenty of space for multiple inhabitants. This will include live streaming for public viewing! We also plan to build a new flight cage for our birds of prey.

If you find a sick or injured wild animal please contact us.
